Marquis Barnes

Marquis Moshe Anthony Barnes affectionately known as "Mo-Mo" was born weighing 6lbs 11 ounces in Temple Hospital (Philadelphia, PA) on August 4, 2019 to Marquis Anthony Barnes and Brianna Latrice Peterkin. He was received into heaven on September 5, 2019.

Marquis was a happy baby and was very advanced. He was very strong, he was rolling over and holding his head up at one month old, he really enjoyed eating. Marquis would  always focus his eyes on everything above. He would look up and smile and laugh. He was a joy to be around and will be missed dearly.

Marquis was preceded in death by: his great grandmother: Mary Cruz, Mary Gregory, great uncles: James Peterkin and Donald Thompson, and Aunt Shantice Ebony Booze.

Marquis is survived by: his parents Marquis and Brianna, Sister: Malaya White-Barnes, Grandmothers: Tracy Peterkin & Zena Barnes, Grandfathers: Willie Pearson & Jose Cruz, Great Grandmother: Erma Peterkin, Lucy Thomas, Uncles: Desmond & Brandon Peterkin, Anthony & Antwine Cruz, Douglas Combs, Cameron Kirk, Jason Sorrell and Kareem Gainey, Aunts: Kellye& Kimbera Collins, Alexus Lamb, Great Uncles: Wayne & Dwaine Peterkin, Donohue & Jeffrey Parker, Great Aunts: Cathy, Beatrice & Cindy Thomas, Dinah Peterkin and Cathy Cruz, Jennifer & Laura K.
