Allisa Alford

Allisa, (54), of (North Philadelphia), passed away on (July 11, 2020) in (Philadelphia). Allisa was born in Temple Hospital to Gretchen D.Walker and Brack Alford Jr., on August 14,1965. She was affectionately known as Lisa or L. Lisa enjoyed dancing, skating, fashion, cheerleading and running around the neighborhood with her three brothers.

She went to school in Philadelphia. She graduated from Dobbins and had a brief time at Gratz. She later attended Community College to pursue a career in health care. Allisa had a host of jobs such as Nursing Attendant, Trauma Unit Nurse, a behavioral health Advisor, and a Hotel as a Housekeeper just to name a few. She was baptized at 12 years old at Jones Memorial Baptist Church, where she was apart of the choir.

Allisa gave birth to two beautiful girls, her oldest Gretchen J. Alford and her youngest Shavonna Alford-MCcullen. In 1996, Allisa Stepped into the Rooms of Narcotic Anonymous, where she spent many years helping beautiful women and men alongside others to fighting the disease of addiction. She was a strong presence in fellowship and loved her fellowship family.

Later in life, Allisa retired in the medical field and became the best grandma in the whole world. She traveled all over with her one and only Grandson. Allisa is preceded in death by her oldest brother Troy and father Brack. Allisa is survived by her two daughters Shavonna and Gretchen, Brothers Tracey and Tony, Mother Gretchen Walker, Grandchild Armonee, and Beloved Dog Bear, and a host of God children; Nieces maleeca, Felicia, Samhiyyah, Korri, Saniyyah, Nadirah, Tonisha, Nariah, and Tempest; Nephews Big Nadir, Lil Nadir, Najee, Samir, SaQuan, Gavin, Hameen, Edward, and Nathan.
