The story of Amanda Wilson
Amanda was born to the late Frankie McCray and Fredrick Everette on October 16th, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Education was done through the Jacksonville, Florida public school system where Amanda graduated from Mathew Gilbert High and was a member of the choir.
Raised in a Christian home, Amanda became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Jacksonville,  where she was also a member of the choir.

In 1961 upon graduating high school Amanda came to Philadelphia to live with her Aunt Ernestine. She was employed as a nursing assistant in the later part of the 60's into the early 70s.
Amanda married the late Frankie Wilson on September 10th, 1963. From that union came three children. As the years passed Amanda was employed as a soldering technician at an electronics firm.

In 1997 she returned to school to become a medical assistant, which landed her the job of administrative assistant at the same school in which she graduated, Thompson Institute.
Amanda, in time, would have one more child.
If you knew Amanda you would know that she LOVED her children and family with all her heart and was a Joy to be around. Amanda loved music and enjoyed dancing.  It was a great thing to hear her sing.

Amanda leaves to cherish her children Michael Bernard Wilson , Jacqueline Wilson-Hudson, Woodrow Wilson, and Eric Jerome Hines, a daughter-in-law Annabelle Wilson, a son-in-law Mervin Hudson ___grandchildren Robert Bernard Wilson, Tyshia Shanel Wilson, (twins) Carlean Jenae Wilson and Kianna Alicia Wilson. __great grandchildren, an Aunt Ernestine and Uncle Warren Jenkins of Ohio, and  a host of relatives and friends.
