Antoinette Taylor

July 8, 1961 — August 20, 2021

Antoinette Farrell Hayes (Taylor) was born on July 8,1961 to Anna Farrell Harris and the late Philip Wesley Hayes Sr. On Friday August 20, 2021. Toni (as she was known to friends and
family) departed this earthly life for eternal rest.

Toni received her education from the Philadelphia public school system graduating from William Penn High School June 19,1979 and continued her education at the Barbizon School of Modeling which she earned her certification later that year.

Toni held quite a few jobs such as Nursing assistant, Factory worker and her love for the education of children lead her to becoming Head of Afterschool Program for Children at the Johnson Homes Community Center. Toni did that for many years then went on to become Committee member and Judge of Elections for 32nd ward 18th district.

Toni always spent time with her friends. It was through her friends that she met Philip Taylor (Bud as he's known). Bud and Toni always together became quite the popular couple. The two married on September 21, 1985. In that union they were blessed with a daughter Turquoise Farrell Taylor.

Toni had a wonderful heart. She always helped everyone she could that was in need. She enjoyed partying with her friends and family. Toni most of all loved shopping, making jewelry, scratching lottery tickets and her every Saturday night dance party with her husband Bud while listening to WDAS FM radio. Toni will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
